Heirloom. Art grows ever more alive with change.
This collection was inspired by a real family heirloom: richly embroidered Czechoslovakian wedding attire worn by the great-grandmother of one of our designers.
The garment’s intricate designs and pleating had begun to unravel and fade, but this change revealed hidden handiwork and highlighted the beauty of the fabric’s texture. By being shared and used, the heirloom created an enduring story.
Drawing on this same potential, the Heirloom Collection features modular tile and plank with dense motifs, areas of fading and a complex blend of colors to echo handcrafted artistry. Designers can mix patterns to create a unique sense of heritage and change over time – stories of complex beauty.
