NEW ORLEANS, LA — December 9, 2025 — Mannington Commercial is proud to celebrate parent company Mannington Mills, Inc., which has been named the recipient of the 2025 Social Impact Award by the Vinyl Sustainability Council (VSC). The award recognizes Mannington’s Work Hard/Play Hard initiative supporting Feeding America® and local food banks across the United States.
The Vinyl Sustainability Council’s Social Impact Award honors a member company that demonstrates a strong commitment to community well-being through meaningful, measurable action. Mannington Mills was recognized for mobilizing volunteers, resources, and leadership to address food insecurity while embedding social impact into its broader business practices.
Through the Work Hard/Play Hard initiative, Mannington Mills mobilized volunteers at 15 food banks across nine states, raising $150,000 to help provide approximately 1.5 million meals. More than 1,000 volunteer hours were contributed by Mannington associates, family members, and members of the Board of Directors, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to service, community engagement, and social responsibility.
These efforts were informed by Mannington’s double materiality assessment, which engaged 543 stakeholders and identified food security and community engagement as priority social impact areas.
“We are proud to recognize Mannington for their commitment to community development through their Work Hard/Play Hard initiative,” said Jay Thomas, Executive Director of the Vinyl Sustainability Council. “We were impressed with Mannington’s volunteer mobilization and the integration of the program into their business practices. We commend the entire Mannington team and look forward to seeing the positive impacts continue for years to come.”
As a commercial flooring brand rooted in performance, responsibility, and long-term value, Mannington Commercial supports and amplifies these efforts as part of Mannington Mills’ broader sustainability and social impact strategy.
